Apple Puree | Baby Food

Not to be confused with applesauce, apple puree is often a favourite for little ones because of its sweet flavour! Use your favourite local Ontario apples to share your favourites with your baby, but feel free to experiment with combinations or different varieties as well.

1/2 cup of puree

  • 1 cup (250 mL) unpeeled red organic apple*, diced


  1. Cook apple in a steamer, covered, 6 minutes or until soft. Transfer to blender or small food processor. Puree until desired texture is achieved.


*If you don't have organic apples, use a peeled apple.
