Get a boost in the morning with this invigorating Beet Blueberry Apple Smoothie. It’s a refreshing breakfast to help kick off your day with. This recipe is super simple to make, with only a few ingredients, but will leave you feeling full and energized for the day.

Beet Blueberry Apple Smoothie

  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 3-4 ice cubes
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 full apple, washed, cored and roughly cut
  • ¼ cup raw beet, peeled and roughly cut (this is about half of a small-medium beet)
  • OPTION: small cube of ginger, grated


  1. In a strong blender, begin by crushing the ice with orange juice. Then add the blueberries, apple and beet, and blend to smooth consistency.
  2. Tip: You can also add other ingredients like flax seed or a little dried, shredded coconut as a garnish.
