Berlo’s Best sweet potatoes are owned and operated by the VanBerlo family who started out 20 years ago with just 30 acres. Today, two generations work together to operate their farm that has grown to 900 acres!

This team are leaders in their industry and have state of the art facilities which cure, store, and pack the entire 20,000,000 pounds grown on their land! Berlo’s Best sweet potatoes are kept in peak storage conditions thanks to their unique computerized temperature and humidity control systems.

In 2007, Berlo’s Best were awarded the “Premier’s Award for Agri-Food Innovation Excellence,” in recognition of their research, investment and advancement in technology in developing a Canadian Sweet Potato Industry.
