You know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it sets up your body with fuel to get going on the right foot! Traditionally, some eat cereal, others may enjoy toast, or even eggs and bacon but more and more of us are drinking our fruits and vegetables in a smoothie or a juice as a healthy breakfast to go!

According to Canada’s Food Guide, children need 4-6 servings of fruits and vegetables per day, teens 7-8 servings, and adults 7-10, depending on age and gender. Ensuring that you get all those servings takes a little planning and time, but it’s totally worth it. Produce is chock full of nutrition and vitamins—so eating and drinking fruits & vegetables are an excellent and natural way to get those essential nutrients!

Many juice recipes require a specialized juicer. However, you can also use a good blender to make smoothies and some juices in no time!

We want to help you get more fruits and vegetables into your diet with juicing and smoothies, so we’re giving away a blender!
