Spanning four generations, Bruce Taylor’s family has worked in the fresh produce business. Raised in the Salinas Valley, otherwise known as America’s Salad Bowl, Bruce’s passion and love for this field grew exponentially. In 1995, along with his partners, he founded Taylor Fresh Foods, with a mission to make good fresh food accessible to every family in America.
Coming a long way from those humble roots, Bruce grew a business of 16,000+ employees with care and purpose, like they do their products. It is thanks to the team’s dedication that they are able to make wholesome fresh foods that nourish families across the country. The family spirit drives every decision that is made within the company and is the driver of their success.
An important part of their vision is striving to create positive social and environmental change. Community involvement has been part of Taylor Farms since day one. They run and walk for causes they believe in, give bikes and backpacks to kids, sponsor local coaches, award scholarships, and make their neighbourhoods, parks, and schools better. Giving back to the local communities is their passion.
They also strive every day to be trusted stewards of the environment and to preserve a healthy world for future generations. Their approach to sustainability focuses on reducing their carbon footprint through resource conversation & responsible business practices. Their continued commitment to be a force for good in the world is carried out through every aspect of the company from the way they grow, produce and package their fresh foods, to making their own renewable energy and protecting the land that feeds us all.
