Ontario Greenhouse Cucumber and Wasabi Salad

  • 1 Lb. Ontario Greenhouse Cucumbers, Sliced
  • 1/2 Tsp. Wasabi Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp. Water
  • 2 Tbsp. Rice Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1/4 Tsp. Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tsp. Salt

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Slice the Ontario greenhouse cucumbers and add salt. Let stand for 30 minutes and then drain.
  2. Step 2

    With cold water, rinse salt off cucumbers and pat dry.
  3. Step 3

    Mix wasabi powder with water.
  4. Step 4

    Add vinegar, sugar and soy sauce. Mix until sugar dissolves.
  5. Step 5

    Add cucumbers and toss. Serve immediately.
